F.A.Q.
ordering
To order a custom design first contact me using this form. I will reply within 1-2 business days. We will have a design consultation either over the phone or in person (free of charge) in which we discuss what you need, and if you choose to move forward, you’ll receive two completely custom designs within three weeks of our meeting.
Definitely. If you see a design you like, let me know and we can make as little or as many changes as you like until it’s perfect!
Yes! I’d be happy to create the following “day-of-event” items to match your invitation: programs, menus, place cards, and table cards. Don’t forget about other items in the invitation suite that might be useful: direction cards, reception cards, and maps.
timing
Yes. Contact me with the time frame, and we’ll see what we can do! For rush orders I usually recommend flat printing as opposed to letterpress since that saves considerable time in the printing, however letterpress can sometimes still be done as a rush order.
From initial contact to final sign off (not including printing) for a customized design please allow about 5-6 weeks. During our initial consultation we’ll discuss the timing, and tailor the process to the time you have available.

payment
I accept checks (preferred), Paypal, and major credit cards (through Square card reader).
Once you’ve decided to go forward with a custom design, a non-refundable deposit of $250 is due in order to start the design process. The deposit will be applied towards the final total due.
shipping
Invitations are shipped via USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking number. If you live in the chicago area I can arrange for pick-up (or even personal delivery!).
returns & refunds
While we all hope this NEVER happens, if there is a noticeable error on the final pieces that was not caught in the proofreading process, then we can reprint if time allows. However additional printing costs will apply.
